GM Tarrytown Assembly Plant 1959

02 12 10 - 23:59

Photojournalist Fritz Goro had a keen eye & a unique style in his work. In 1959, he spent quite a bit of time walking around General Motor's Tarrytown Assembly Plant documenting how the new Chevrolets were manufactured and assembled. Now courtesy of LIFE magazine, his photographs have been posted online for everybody to enjoy.

Even though these pics were taken 30 years before I worked there, each one of these images brought back a flood of memories from my time in that plant.

Some of my closest friends shared those long days working in the old plant & I know that they'll be thrilled to see these images too!

Amoled improves screen quality by letting displays produce deeper and richer blacks. It does this by electrically charging each pixel to generate colours, meaning that all the screen has to do is stop charging them to create black.

This version of his adidas Originals NMD sneaker keeps things simple with a white mesh upper and an outsole that has a similar texture printed throughout. The color comes in by way of the tongue tag and heel tab with hits on the outsole as well.
